Celebrating our 16th Annual Relay For Life on June 17th at the John Rhodes Community Center. We cannot do the work of the Canadian Cancer Society without volunteers like you. Please consider giving a few hours of your time on June 17th and join us in the fight against cancer. We have various volunteer opportunities available such as helping with Luminaries, at the Survivor Tent, with Children’s Activities, and many more. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, food and beverage. This will be a fun volunteer opportunity for all ages and physical abilities. Sault Area Hospital’s Emergency Department and Fast Track Clinic treat over 60,000 patients per year. On average, almost 150 patients come through our Emergency doors every day. As a volunteer with in the Emergency Department you will provide assistance and support to the staff and act as a liaison providing information to the patients and their families.
