Duties:
|
Treasurer's role is to act as the main support of Chapter finances, to maintain and execute financial responsibilities in a timely manner. The Chapter Treasurer is responsible for supporting the chapter's existing financial portfolio (including all budgets for events and Chapter itself). This is a volunteer position and is considered part of the Chapter Executive and is (other than the chapter President) the chapter's primary contact for any financial chapter inquiries.
Reports to Chapter Board; Works closing with the Regional Executive Director; Works with the chapter's sub-committees, regional and national staff.
Commitment: Fulfills a two-year term (Maximum of two consecutive two-year terms), attends all chapter meetings and board meetings, participates in chapter activities and/or on committees (as needed)

Skills Expected:
|
Knowledge of Cystic Fibrosis Canada policies and materials (e.g.: Infection Control Policy, Risk Management, Code of Conduct);
Strong organizational and analytical skills;
Accounting and/or finance experience are an asset;
Knowledge of spreadsheet software preferred.

Consults with Chapter President; Past Chapter President, Past Treasurer; Regional Executive Director, regional and national staff.
