Duties: Drivers with vehicles or deliveries (those who can get in and out of the cars and deliver the meals), some people can do both. Age and health determine what you can do. Deliver a route (15-20 people per route) between the hours of 11:15 am and 1 pm. We are grateful if you can help out 1 day per month or as regular as once every two weeks.

Skills Expected: Friendly, compassionate person who doesn't get flustered. Either you are the driver or the delivery person or both, you must be pleasant as this is a labour of love. Aging is going to happen to each of us so this phase of life should be kept in mind. Drivers are required to have a valid drivers license.

Orientation: At the location where the meals are picked-up and training is provided on how to handle and deliver the containers. Training consists of 45 minute instruction and a practice run with another volunteer.

Car Required: Yes

Comments: Usually the client is an elderly person unable to make nutritional foods for themselves. The more time you can volunteer, the better..every hour is very much appreciated! Delivery times are from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
