Duties:

We are looking for volunteers who can assist residents with their meals. Some residents require full assistance in eating their meals and some residents require verbal cueing and reminders.
|

Comfortable with assisting residents in eating their meals.

Orientation:
|
Full orientation provided, including specific training on assisting in the dining rooms. Orientation provided on different food textures, drink consistencies, how to assist someone with eating.

Training:
|
Training is provided in the dining room by Nursing Department. Includes how to assist someone, how to provide cueing, who to report to or ask questions to.
|
