Sell daffodil pins (by donation) to the general public at various locations in your community and/or canvass door to door during Daffodil Month, in April.
We are currently looking for volunteers to sell daffodil pins March 31st-April 3rd at various locations throughout Sault Ste. Marie.
To some, the daffodil is just a flower. To us, it is a symbol of strength and courage, a symbol of life. It says we will not give up. It says we will fight back. It says we will beat cancer.
Fight back with your time - as few as two hours could make all the difference in the life of someone facing cancer. When you help sell daffodils pins, or canvass door-to-door for a donation for the Canadian Cancer Society during Daffodil Month this April, you will help save lives and support those living with cancer.
The money raised during Daffodil Month helps us fight back against cancer by doing everything we can to prevent cancer from ever happening in the first place, funding research and clinical trials to outsmart cancer and empowering, informing, supporting and improving the lives of Canadians living with cancer. You'll also be supporting our local Algoma Peer Support, Information and Referral and Wheels of Hope transportation programs.
With your help, we will beat this disease. Please give a few hours of your time this April and JOIN THE FIGHT against cancer!
