Duties: As a vital member of this team, you will assist daily operations, in-person, at our offices by providing administrative support and/or acting as the receptionist and first point of contact. In person at our office. Schedule and time commitment is set during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Commitment to one 4-hour shift per week for a minimum of 6 months.

Skills Expected: Proficiency with technology (Microsoft Office, printers, online platforms/support portals, etc.) Thrive at providing optimum customer service, comfortable interacting with the public Experience or interest working in an administrative environment Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills Attention to accuracy and detail Ability to work with little supervision Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural issues is an asset Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Orientation: Orientation will consist of in-office training and learning about the programs offered in the Sault Ste. Marie and District area. Orientation will be provided after completion of the on-boarding process.

Training: Comprehensive orientation as well as ongoing training and development is offered to volunteers.
