Girl Guide Leaders empowering youth in leadership program
|

Duties:
|
- Guide and supervise younger children (Sr. K - Gr. 6)
- Assist younger children with planning their own activities and earning badges
- Plan and prepare weekly meeting activities, occaisonal day camps, sleepovers, trips, and camps
- optional Treasurer, Cookie Campaign leader, and/or Shopper roles

Skills Expected:

Everyone has skills and talents to share with Girl Guides.
|

Orientation:
|
Online Safe Guide training is required as part of the application process.
Volunteer with experienced Girl Guide leaders.
|

Training:
|
There is free online training and mentorship to get started.
Additional online training based on personal interest.
Optional online learning conferences twice a year.
Every year there is a heavily subsidized optional training weekend someplace in Ontario.
